360 Video of Low Lying Cloud in action
The structure had vents on both sides of the structure which was blowing a lot of air. You can actually hear it in the video and see the cloud gravitating towards the side. This made it really hard to control the direction of the cloud. We could not turn the AC unit off because it was coming from a large external AC unit and there was also no way for us to lcose the vents either.

It's the Chauvet Nimbus. Check your local dj store or order online.
It costs about $1000 not including the dry ice.

We use dry ice and a machine that specifically is made for it. You can get dry ice from places like an ice house.

It uses dry ice. So you will need someone to operate it. It does not operate by remote. Someone has to physically dump the dry ice into the machine.

wow trully stunning. A shows lighting is the most underrated aspect of any event. Every time I go to a concert or even a play, more than half the time I spend admiring the lightshow and how well the engineers choreograph to what ia playing or showing
Yes! Adding lighting can definitely add more to a show.

Do you have issues with the stands swaying or moving at all during quick movements with the lights? How stable is this?
No issues at all. Very stable. i had a speaker stand drop with a moving head on top and the mount held on with no problems.
@Lyle Shannon it is the Ultimate TS80 stand. Easily handle 20-30lbs.

Nice video. What if you want to mount a heavy light like moving heads similar to the first light like vertically? How do you or would you do that if you had a lock like the second light which seems very loose (the way it comes) and poorly designed?
I would not mount any moving heads vertically with either mounts. I would use the pro clamps.
@@Hawaiieventsunlimited I've been looking for brackets everywhere to do this but haven't found ones (u shape style usually comes with fixtures). Any idea on links please?
@@e11world Yeah I used the stock brackets but added a metal plate for a more solid mount.

Dude, this is truly amazing. You guys are bad asses for real! Just subscribed to your channel. Reading the comments below i see you used arkaos led mapper to run the lights. Your timing with the lights and music is totally on point. Does arkaos allow you to create a whole light show for a song and then play it back in time with the music (similar to how soundswitch works?). I'm looking for a solution that will do that exact thing. And again, mad respect for this performance.
Thanks! Sorry we been so busy we haven't been able to take video or put out new content. Thanks for subscribing though. I don't think grandvj has the ability to record the show and then play it back. Everything we do is done with a lighting designer controlling the lights.

Jesus! How many light bars are in total? lol... Did you have something like soundswitch controlling all of the lights? Or did you do it/light guy?
There were 36 pixelicious bars. We had a lighting designer controlling them using Arkaos LED Mapper
I have this fixture and I am using it with myDMX2.0/3.0. I am having issue with making it move faster. Eg: pan, tilt left to right. is there any tutorials on it?
What software controlled these?
